Come Along To Meet Us!

Standard

HLFHI_2747Generously supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Focus on Family  is running a 1-year project called  “1613 And All That!” which offers the chance to explore the exciting story of the Coleraine Plantation and the granting of the Royal Charter (which happened 400 years ago!)

We are looking for 25 local people to become part of a volunteer project team who want to share a rewarding and fun experience of exploration and learning. We’ll provide you with all the necessary training, a hefty dose of fun and a wee dollop of adventure to boot : and you’ll have a story or two to tell afterwards!

Between April 2013 and January 2014, there is a whole load of exciting stuff to get involved with including trips, accredited training and the production of our very own book! There are opportunities for budding film-makers, writers, illustrators and reporters – and even opportunities for leading local heritage tours.

No previous experience of working on a heritage project is required.

Focus House JpegInformation and Registration events are happening at Focus on Family 19 March 2-3.30pm , 20 March 6.30-8pm and 21 March 10-11.30am.  Please arrive at the beginning of the session you’d like to attend!
