LondonThe  Corporation of the City of London and the London Livery Companies received instruction from James 1 to settle or “plant” Ulster with English and Scottish Protestants in the early seventeenth century.

Coleraine was one of the two urban communities developed by the London Companies in the Plantation of Ulster (the other community being that of  Derry~Londonderry).

6 of our Project Team are going on a 3-day visit to London to explore the links between London and the Coleraine Plantation on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June 2013
